Governor Hochul's Security Detail Investigated for Misconduct

The state police internal affairs bureau reportedly is investigating possible misconduct by troopers assigned to Governor Hochul's security detail in New York City.

The New York Post reports the probe involves allegations the troopers had others sign them in on timesheets when they weren't actually working.

Sources tell The Post some troopers have already been removed from their post and could face disciplinary action.

A state police spokesman confirmed for The Post the agency was investigating "time and attendance issues" involving members of the security detail.
