Local Proud Boy Leader to Subpoena Former President Trump

Attorneys for several reputed Proud Boy leaders, including Dominic Pezzola of Rochester, intend to subpoena Former President Trump to testify at their trial.

Politico reports attorneys intend to show the Proud Boys were acting on perceived orders from Trump to stop the peaceful transition of power from Trump to Joe Biden on January 6th, 2021.

There's no indication from the judge as to whether he'd allow Trump to be subpoenaed.

Pezzola and other members of the Proud Boy leadership are charged with seditious conspiracy, conspiring to obstruct official proceeding, obstruction of law enforcement, and robbery.

If convicted, Pezzola could face decades in prison.
