New York State Has a New Campaign to Reduce Drug Overdoses

The New York State Department of Health has launched a new campaign that's aimed at reducing the number of deadly drug overdoses.

The goal is to provide people with an understanding of how to lower the number of overdoses -- as fentanyl continues to be found in a variety of drugs.

The campaign also emphasizes how important the use of naloxone is as a tool to save a person's life if they have overdosed.

People who are struggling with addiction can call 1-877-8-HOPENY 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
