Rochester Man Pleads Guilty in April Lime St. Shooting

A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to assault and weapons charges in a shooting on the city's northwest side.

Prosecutors say Willie Gibson Junior opened fire at a home on Lime Street last April, after getting into an argument with one of its residents.

One bullet struck a 51-year-old grandmother in the chest -- she survived the shooting.

Gibson was on parole for burglary and gun charges at the time.

He'll be sentenced in May.
