Henrietta Man Accused of Killing His Parents Has a History of Violence

The Henrietta man accused of killing his parents and wounding another family member Wednesday has a violent criminal record.

As first reported by News10NBC, Rajab Banahi was charged with robbery and assault at the family home in June 2021. The victim refused to testify and Banahi was sentenced to probation, anger management classes and mental health evaluations.

Banahi was arrested again in December 2021 for an assault on an employee at Strong Hospiial. He completed his jail time this past fall.

He his now accused of beating and stabbing his parents to death, and trying to kill another relative -- who remains hospitalized.
