Monroe County Executive Adam Bello may be looking for different oversight at the Children's Detention Center.
He's announced an Office of Public Integrity review to recommend changes to policies and procedures there.
The search is also underway for a new center director.
The moves comes in the wake of the arrest and firing of two staffers for allegedly allowing youths to fight.
The County Human Services department currently oversees the Detention Center, but Bello says that may no longer be appropriate, given that offenders held there are now older and more violent than before.
