The Rochester Genesee Regional Transportation Authority has a new CEO: He's Miguel Velazquez, who's currently the Deputy CEO.
He was chosen by unanimous vote of the RGRTA Board of Commissioners, and he starts work on January first.
Velazquez is replacing Bill Carpenter, who is retiring.
The RGRTA runs the Regional Transit Service and other transportation-related services in the Greater Rochester area
