There is more legal wrangling over redrawing the Monroe County legislative districts.
A second lawsuit is asking a federal judge to appoint a master to draw the districts in compliance with the federal Voting Rights Act.
It was filed by the Rochester NAACP branch and other plaintiffs and accuses County Executive Adam Bello of deliberate trying to diminish Black representation in the Legislature for political gain.
Bello recently vetoed a plan calling for five majority Black districts.
