New York State has a new task force to combat hate.

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced the launching of a Hate And Bias Prevention Unit within the Department of Human Rights.

She says the unit will go to every county to have meetings with stakeholders on hate prevention, and education on warning signs of hate.

The number of antisemitism incidents has been on the rise in New York.
