Local Health Officials Hope to Keep "Tri-demic" at Bay During the Holidays

Local health officials are hoping to keep the so-called "tri-demic" at bay during the holidays.

Health Commissioner Doctor Michael Mendoza says cases of RSV have been climbing faster than the flu.

Monroe County has recorded three deaths from RSV.

Mendoza also says there's no sign yet of an expected winter COVID-19 surge.

He urges everyone to get vaccinated for flu and COVID, and wear masks indoors around people at risk for severe illness.
