Rochester's Police Accountability Board Executive Director Fired

Rochester's Police Accountability Board has fired suspended executive director Conor Dwyer Reynolds.

The vote last night was 5 to 1.

It came one day after an independent report to the City Council could not substantiate Reynolds' claims that he was sexually harassed by former Board Chair Shani Wilson.

It also found that he violated ethics rules by leaking confidential city documents to reporters.

PAB staff members who are organizing a union had demanded Reynolds' reinstatement. They say acting manager Duwaine Bascoe created a hostile work environment.

The PAB is now searching for a transitional director to replace Bascoe while they search for a permanent replacement for Reynolds.
