The Rochester Catholic Doicese has reached a settlement with 475 sexual abuse survivors.
The Diocese will pay out $55 million to the survivors.
Meantime, victims will be able to pursue additional funds from their insurance companies.
The Diocese will get a discharge in their bankruptcy proceedings.
The agreement is part of a reorganization plan that survivors will eventually have to vote to approve.
