New Yorkers can apply for home heating financial assistance starting tomorrow.
State officials say eligible households can receive up to 976 dollars through the Home Energy Assistance Program.
The state considers income, how the home is heated and some other factors when determining who gets financial assistance and how much.
Applications for Emergency benefits will be accepted starting in January.
