Rochester Man Sentenced to 50 to Life for Murder, Attempted Murder

A Rochester man will serve 25 years to life in prison in connection with a pair of shootings.

Twenty-nine-year-old Robert Colon was convicted last month of second-degree murder and attempted murder.

Colon shot and killed Roger Palermo in March of last year during an attempted robbery on First Street.

About three weeks later, Colon shot and wounded a second victim during a robbery attempt near Joseph Avenue.
