Community Input Sessions Being Held Regarding Cannabis Zoning In Rochester

Rochester City Councilmember Mike Patterson is holding a series of community input sessions to discuss the City's proposed Cannabis Zoning.

The first was last night.

Patterson says he wants to be certain that the soon-to-be-licensed marijuana businesses are in keeping with the needs of the comminunity. He says the city needs to be sure that its efforts to regulate the industry will help people and not hurt them.

The second forum is Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the downtown library, and the third is a week from Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the David Gantt R-Center.
