A Rochester man is facing sex abuse charges involving a five-year-old girl.
Thirty-seven-year-old Michael Rivera-Perez was arrested Monday, after the girl's mother in Sodus reported the abuse to state police.
Troopers also seized an assault-style rifle and a high-capacity magazine.
Rivera-Perez was released from the Wayne County Jail after posting $500 cash bail.
The charges include first-degree sexual abuse, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and endangering a child.
