No One Hurt in Alphonse Street House Fire

Rochester fire officials say no one was hurt in a fire at a boarded up one-story house on Alphonse Street, west of Hudson Avenue.

The fire overnight was the second fire at the house in the past two weeks.

Crews had to cut through the boarded up windows and doors before they could get inside. Searches did not find anybody inside.

The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
