Greece School Employee Accused of Flashing Gun on School Grounds

A Greece Central School District food service worker has been arrested and fired on the first day of school there, for allegedly flashing a gun at another person on school property.

It happened before 8 this morning in the Greece Odyssey parking lot on Maiden Lane.

Police say 39-year-old Olga Martinez of Rochester got into a dispute with another driver on a nearby road, then pulled into the lot and pulled a gun on that other driver.

A loaded gun was found in a holster in Martinez's vehicle.

The campus was put on a brief lockdown, but that lockdown was lifted shortly after her arrest.

Martinez faces 2 weapons charges and menacing.
