Jury Seated in Brighton Ax Murder Trial

Jury selection is now complete for the trial in the Brighton ax murder case.

Opening statements begin next Tuesday morning.

James Krauseneck was charged in 2019 with murder for the 1982 killing of his wife, Cathleen.

Testimony is expected to focus on the time of the woman's death.

Krauseneck said he found her body when he came home from work.

The defense will point out that a man with a violent record confessed to the killing a few years ago, before he died in prison.
