UPDATE: Victim Identified in Fatal Shooting on Rochester's Southwest Side

UPDATE: Police have identified the man killed in a shooting outside a restaurant on State Street, just south of Lyell Avenue.

27-year-old Jameik Foster Senior of Rochester died at the hospital following the shooting yesterday morning.

A man in his 30s was wounded, and a man working at a hot dog cart at the corner was stabbed as people fled the scene.

Both of those victims are expected to survive.

No one has been arrested.

Rochester police have not released the name of a man shot to death on the city's southwest side.

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. yesterday outside an address on Olean Street

Police found the man on a sidewalk and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators are trying to determine what led to the shooting.

No one has been arrested.

The city has had 50 homicides this year.
