Rochester takes part in a campaign that brings people and local police together.
Several locations across the city took part in community building campaign last night called National Night out
The campaign promotes police partnerships with neighborhoods across the US- with the goal of making things safer and increasing positive visibility.
Mayor Malik Evans said National Night Out gives people and police the chance to connect.
Some of the event included food vendors, music and a dunk booth.
