Funeral services will be held today for Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz on Monday. The 54-year-old Rochester Police Officer was ambushed, shot and killed July 21. The man accused of fatally shooting him was indicted Wednesday. The funeral is scheduled to begin at noon Monday inside the Blue Cross Arena. The service will not be open to the public, but it will air live on local tv stations. Mazurkiewicz served with the Rochester police department for 29 years.
The street closures include Broad Street, from South Avenue to South Fitzhugh Street.
Court Street, from South Avenue to Exchange Boulevard.
Exchange from Main to South Fitzhugh.
And South Avenue between Main and Broad.
