Grand Jury Indicts Man Accused of Shooting Two Rochester Police Officers

The Massachusetts man accused of opening fire on two plainclothes Rochester police officers, killing one of them, has been indicted by a grand jury.

21-year-old Kelvin Vickers was originally charged with second-degree murder for the killing of Officer Anthony Mazurkiewicz, and second-degree attempted murder for the wounding of Officer Sino Seng.

That indictment is sealed, and there's no word on when those charges will be revealed.

It's not clear whether Vickers knew he was shooting at police.

If that is established, the charges could potentially be upgraded to first-degree
