Rochester City Councilman Jose Peo says he has apologized to Council Vice President Mary Lupien for lewd comments by a co-host on his podcast June 15. Peo addressed the issue again on his latest podcast last night. Two weeks ago, co-host Lavelle Lewis joked about the prospects of having sex on a first date with an unnamed red-head. Peo responded, "Mary, I'm out of this." Lewis said on the Bob Lonsberry Show this week he actually was refering to County Legislator Rachel Barnhart. And Lewis apologized last night for the way his remarks were taken.
