The Henrietta Town Board has denied a zoning application for a Planned Parenthood clinic at a shopping plaza on Jefferson Road.
The vote came in front of a packed house -- including supporters of the clinic proposal and abortion opponents.
Planned Parenthood had initially eyed a site in Brighton, but demolishing a building there was determined to be too costly. The Jefferson Road site was considered attractive because of its convenience for people traveling on 390.
