PAB Chair Resigns

The Chair of Rochester's Police Accountability Board has submitted her resignation to City Hall...just days after the now-suspended director of the agency accused her of sexual harassment.

Shani Wilson says in her letter of resignation that she maintains the accusations against her are false.

However, she says the agency is under threat...and the best thing for the PAB, the city, and for her is to step aside.

Suspended PAB Director Conor Dwyer Reynolds accused Wilson in a blog post earlier this week of making unwanted advances on him, and punishing him when he rejected her.

At the same time, the board's attorney was filing a formal complaint against Reynolds accusing him of mismanaging the agency and creating a climate of paranoia among the staff.
