Source: PAB Spending Moratorium Due to Large Expenditures

Rochester's Police Accountability Board reportedly planned to spend $95,000 for two Chevy Suburbans and $230,000 for office furniture, even though the office space the board is subleasing from Gannett is already furnished.

That's according to Bob Lonsberry's source at City Hall who works in purchasing for the city.

The expenditures reportedly were a major reason for City Council's moratorium on board expenditures.

The PAB's executive director was placed on leave this month because of human resource-related complaints.
