Rochester firefighters say an adult and three children had to be checked out at the hospital after a fire at an apartment building in Charlotte.
It broke out in a closet in an apartment at 4781 Lake Avenue.
A smoke detector alerted the person inside, but the people next door breathed in some of the smoke.
No firefighters were hurt, and there is no word on the cause of the fire.
