Monroe County's Heroin Task Force has released the April overdose numbers for the county, and they are in line with the three previous months this year.
There were 50 opioid overdoses for the month, and ten of them were fatal.
The four-month average this year is 54 monthly overdoses and 13 fatalities.
The numbers have been trending down since tracking began in 2018, when the average was about 90 overdoses per month in the first four months of the year.
