10-Year-Old Girl Shot After Bullets Fired Into Rochester House

Rochester police say a 10-year-old girl is recovering at the hospital after being shot four times through the wall of her grandmother’s house. It happened Saturday night around 2 a.m. Police say the child was in her grandmother’s living room helping her do her hair when bullets were fired into the home. Investigators say she was shot four times in the chest and taken to Strong Memorial Hospital. Police say the intended target was a 32-year-old man in the house. He is reportedly not cooperating with police. The child is expected to be okay.
