One of the Democrats challenging Governor Hochul in the upcoming party primary for governor is facing an ethics investigation.

Long Island Congressman Tom Suozzi was accused of failing to make timely reports of stock transactions, as required by House ethics rules.

The House Ethics Committee says it will announce its course of action on or before July 29 -- one month after the June primary.

A watchdog group, the Campaign Legal Center, filed the complaint.

Suozzi’s congressional office says Suozzi's investments are managed by independent advisors -- and every annual financial disclosure was filed
