A Rochester man was shot while grilling on Jefferson Avenue. Police say the man was grilling around 10:30 a.m. when multiple people approached the victim and opened fire. Rochester Police Lt. Greg Bello said a nearby home was hit by bullets. Five people, including three children, were inside the house at the time. They are "terrified and scared" but unharmed, Bello said. The victim was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
