Rochester police are saying more about an arrest in an armed carjacking early this morning.
Police say 33-year-old Devin Johnson fired a round when he stole a cab from a taxi driver on Dewey Avenue.
Police broke off a high-speed pursuit on Lake Avenue, but the cab was spotted by deputies later in Sweden.
Johnson bailed out in a field and tried to run, but was quickly caught.
Johnson was arrested with a loaded handgun that had been reported stolen in Florida.
He faces multiple robbery and weapon charges.
