Rochester police have identified the man whose body was found behind an abandoned house a week ago -- and they're deeming his death a homicide.
41-year-old Julius Hagood was discovered dead on Ames Street on the west side last Wednesday.
Police are not disclosing how Hagood was killed.
There have now been 17 homicides in the city so far this year.
Police have not made any arrests, and they're asking anyone with information to call 911.
