Rochester Hitman Caught in Miami

A Rochester mob hitman is now back in federal custody.

64-year-old Dominic Taddeo was caught by U.S. Marshals in Miami.

Taddeo left a halfway house in Florida for a medical appointment on Monday and never returned.

Taddeo was scheduled to be released next year.

He was sentenced in the early 90s to 54 years in prison on federal racketeering charges.

He had been on the run for several years after he was linked to the contract killings of three men in 1982 and 1983.
