UPDATE: Police have identified the victim and suspect in Rochester's latest homicide.
46-year-old Shawn Appleberry of Rochester is charged with 2nd-degree murder.
Police say he shot 42-year-old Desmin Diggs around midnight on East Ridge Road, just west of North Clinton.
City police have logged 16 homicides so far this year.

There are reports of another homicide in the City of Rochester.
It happened around midnight on East Ridge Road, just west of North Clinton. A person was shot and killed.
The location is about a block from the area where was 32-year-old Quinn Mair was shot to death during an argument early Saturday morning.
