Sister Grace Miller is out as executive director at the House of Mercy.
The Board of Directors has concluded a year-long search with the hiring of Tammy Butler.
She has a background in addiction recovery and founded a nonprofit organization to help individuals and families move beyond addiction.
Miller founded the House of Mercy in 1984 and will remain as Spiritual Director.
She tells the D&C she is hurt and dejected by the hiring of Butler
