Student Accused of Lighting Vice Principals' Property on Fire

A Frederick Douglass Middle School student is accused of setting a fire that burned a staff member at that school.

Officials say the 14-year-old boy lit the vice principal’s personal property yesterday afternoon.

This, after allegedly pulling a fire alarm.

Bystanders were able to put out the fire, and the vice principal was not hurt.

The student is facing attempted assault and reckless endangerment.
