A Monroe County Grand Jury Has Handed Up Indictments In Two Fatal Crashes

A Monroe County grand jury has handed up indictments in two deadly crashes last year.

Thirty-year-old Michelle Correia, of Rochester, is charged with second-degree manslaughter and leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

She is accused of hitting and killing 20-year-old pedestrian Nyasia Walker last August on Clifford Avenue, then driving away.

Meantime, 52-year-old Renee Alger, of Hilton, is charged with vehicular manslaughter and DWI for a September crash on Ridge Road at 390, killing her husband and a woman on a motorcycle.
