Monroe County is reporting 34 more COVID deaths -- raising the number since the pandemic started to 1,742.
But there are fewer than 500 people hospitalized in the region with COVID -- the lowest number in months.
Cases are also declining, with just 180 new cases confirmed Sunday.
The 7-day average of new cases is down to 404 cases per day.
