Convicted Rochester Bomber Sentenced

A Rochester man who was convicted of setting off a series of bombs at houses on Leander and Falleson Roads will serve two years in prison.

50-year-old James Pane was sentenced yesterday in federal court.

Prosecutors say Pane mailed threatening letters to ten homes in that neighborhood, all attacking a person at one home whom he claimed owed him money for drugs. He said he would keep planting bombs until he was paid.

Pane was caught by investigators, who searched his trash and found evidence linking him to the letters and bombings.
