Democrats in the New York State Legislature have drawn up new congressional district boundaries that could boost their numbers in the state's congressional delegation.
The proposed map would add part of Ontario County to District 25 -- Democrat Joe Morelle's district.
And the 24th District would span the Republican territory surrounding District 25 and extend from Niagara County to Oswego County.
The 23rd District would extend farther east across the Southern Tier.
Utica area Republican Claudia Tenney's territory would be redrawn to include many more Democrats.
