Law enforcement officers from New York and eight other northeastern states are teaming up to tackle the flow of illegal guns.
Governor Hochul this morning convened the first meeting of an Interstate Task Force.
And she announced the creation of a new state Office of Gun Violence Prevention in the Department of Health.
Hochul says there will be daily communication between the states to share intelligence and strategies.
