"Harmonica Pete" Passes at 98

World War Two Veteran Pete DuPre has died. Also known as "Harmonica Pete," the Fairport man was known for playing the national anthem on his harmonica at parades and sporting events around the region.

His biggest crowd was in 2019 when he played for the U.S. Women's National Soccer Team game against Mexico. There were 30,000 people in the stadium. He played again before the U.S. Women's Team vs Mexico last summer.

DuPre was 98 years old.
