City Putting Up Reward in Greer Murder Case

Rochester Mayor Malik Evans says he and other city hall employees have put together a reward fund for information leading to the capture of whomever shot 14-year-old Julius Greer, the teenager shot to death last week while going to the corner store on an errand for his family. The fund has raised $9,000 and Evans is urging everyone to donate.

Evans says he personally donated $3,000 to the fund. He says rewards are one more tool the city can use to help solve murder cases, and he's going to give police multiple tools.
