Rochester police say no one was hurt when a man fired a gun while trying to rob a Dollar General store on Lake Avenue.
It happened shortly before 6 last night.
Police say the man demanded cash from employees at gunpoint, He fired at least one round while ten people were in the store, then left.
The gunman is still at large.
