Pedestrian, Deputy Identified in Fatal Perinton Accident

The state Attorney General's office will investigate the death of a pedestrian last week.

32-year-old Wesley Soper of Perinton was killed when he was struck by a Monroe County Deputy's cruiser on Route 31 Friday.

That deputy has been identified as Michael Houlihan.

Monroe County's Major Crime Unit is also investigating.
