Greece, NY -- Greece is the latest area town to opt-out of allowing marijuana stores and lounges.
The decision came at Thursday night's town board meeting.
Under state law, towns and villages that want to opt out must do so by the end of the month.
Communities that opt out by the deadline can still change their mind later.
In recent weeks, the towns of Gates, Ogden and Pittsford also have opted out.
The state is expected to begin licensing marijuana businesses in the New Year.
