Exclusive: Wood to be New Greece Chief; Forsythe to Plead Guilty

Greece, NY -- The Town of Greece is turning the page on the Drew Forsythe episode.

Supervisor Bill Reilich has scheduled a 10:30 a.m. Thursday news conference to name the town's new police chief.

A source tells Bob Lonsberry the choice is former Rochester police deputy chief of operations Mike Wood.

Forsythe resigned as chief after crashing his town-issued SUV in October and withholding details from Reilich.

Lonsberry reports Forsythe will make a public apology and plead guilty Thursday in Ogden Town Court to Driving With Ability Impaired and leaving the scene of an accident. He was initially charged with DWI, and District Attorney Sandra Doorley said last month he had six drinks before the crash.
