Forsythe Case Moved Out of Greece Court

Former Greece Police Chef Drew Forsythe was to be arraigned in Greece Town Court this afternoon on a DWI charge and for leaving the scene of an accident in October.

Instead, the case will be moved to another court because all three Greece justices recused themselves.

Forsythe was charged after crashing his department-issued SUV on Route 390 early on the morning of October 21st. An investigation by the Monroe County District Attorney's Office found the former chief had been at a bar at the Hyatt Hotel downtown, where he drank six alcoholic beverages in about two hours before getting behind the wheel.

Forsythe resigned his post four days later.
